Vito’s Pizza & Pasta
I am picky about pizza. As I am typically disappointed by take out, I usually make my own. Last night I was tired so I tried Vito’s for the first time. It won’t be the last! Staff were friendly. Pizza was delicious, even though it was cold by the time we drove it home. (I don’t like cold pizza, but this was reasonable even while cold.) I reheated a few slices. The crust was crunchy, cheese gooey, and toppings were fresh. The Margherita pizza came with a balsamic drizzle, which I thought was a nice touch. We also bought the veggie pizza, which was flavorful. The garlic bread is fantastic; perfect mix of crunch, dough, cheese, and small chunks of garlic. (No garlic powder here!) The bread comes with pizza sauce and ranch dressing for dipping. My only complaint is they put the dipping sauces in the box without lids and failed to warn me. The ranch spilled all over half the bread. They also forgot to cut one of the pizzas. In non-covid times, I would dock them a star because I dislike ranch and I had to scrape it off the bread, but 2020 sucked for all, so they get a pass. 🙂
