This is an incredible place. The company had towels on the bed and in the kitchen ready for use. I truly couldn’t have asked for much more in my experience. The internet was a bit slow since it’s a mesh network with the Airbnb next store but I was looking to disconnect so this ended up assisting that intention.

We had such a great stay. Easy access to hikes and paddle boarding. Right in the heart of the town and able to walk to grab food and coffee. Was great to have the fenced in back yard for our two dogs. Would love to come back and stay again!

The town itself is quaint and historic....but options are limited, so it was nice to have a kitchen to prepare meals.
We went hiking along the lake to the Inter-Lachen Lodge. I'm glad the hike was basically flat, because the elevation was no joke. (I'm a sea level girl)

We escaped the heat for a girls weekend in the mountains and an amazing stay in Twin Lakes. The home made for an amazing launching pad for all our adventures... hiking, paddle boarding, spending time in Buena Vista and Leadville. We wish we could have stayed longer to make a day trip to Aspen. Twin lakes was a great spot to return to such a comfortable home with everything you needed to relax and unwind. Shout out to Shoot Star Gallery... a local gem!

Twin Lakes itself is a hidden gem that should be on everyone’s bucket list. From the moment we arrived, we felt transported to a simpler, more magical time. The host’s communication was impeccable — friendly, clear, and responsive from start to finish. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for.

Great pet friendly two bed in Twin Lakes! We really enjoyed the comfy beds, and spaces for us to spread out while we took a work-away week in Twin Lakes. The house had great games, and kitchen supplies well stocked. We also enjoyed the back yard, and surrounding nature.

We had a minor situation with garbage on the backyard (from previous visitors) and they were very quick to come over and take care of it. Owners kept in constant communication with us. The mattresses are on the hard side (which was perfectly fine for me cause that’s how I like it), but for my 6’5” husband it was a bit uncomfortable (but that is very personal). The WiFi is not great and you lose connection sporadically (this was an issue for us cause my husband was still working while during our stay). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. We were here to attend the Ski Joring in Leadville and we loved being close enough to it but able to retreat to a quiet, peaceful place afterwards.

Location is IN THE TOWN. The information locating this including GPS error leads you to think it is down a rough road requiring 4 wheel drive. The road is easy and only 100 yards from the stop sign turning into Twin Lakes. Do not go further and make the left on the bumpy dirt road! We nearly got stuck and have 4 wheel drive! Had the description been easier - over 2 hours would have been saved at 1am nearly stuck. Otherwise incredible beautiful stay and I look forward to rebooking this Summer!

We were here for snowboarding, and while several resorts were about an hour away, a few were much closer, making it super convenient. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

The care put into maintaining the home while preserving its character was evident. I also loved the fenced-in backyard, which was perfect for my dog. The town itself is so charming and peaceful. We would absolutely return for another visit!

Twin Lakes is an awesome little town with a lot to offer in outdoor activities on/around the lake. The lake is right across the street from this AirBnB (2-3 min walk to lake). Buena Vista and Leadville are only 25-30 minutes away.
- The property was very spacious. The photos (in my opinion) made the living area and bedrooms look smaller than they actually are. It would easily be comfortable for a larger group.
-The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook a good meal.
-The laundry area had detergent and dryer sheets.
-The shower had great water pressure and heated up quickly.

This is a very charming house that maintained its historical character while offering a modern interior and amenities. The house is well-equipped and quiet. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. Twin Lakes is a very small community with extremely nice people and stunning nature around. Recommended activities: hire a kayak at Mt Elbert Canoe & Kayak, hike Mt Elbert (be prepared though), and check out the General Store and the farm shop on the main road. Highly recommended place.

Wonderful updated home right in Twin on the main drive. More than enough for what you need while in Twin. Most everything was updated and all was in good working order. Good beds, perfect kitchen and bathroom. Great host too! Super helpful any time we needed it. A little gem in a sweet little town!

This is a well-appointed property in a spectacular location, an excellent base for exploring the area. The beds are very comfortable, and a there’s a hammock in the back yard. The nearby general store has an amazing variety of stock, and it’s an easy walk to an historic village near the lakeshore. Across the street from the Boho Brothel is a small artists’ coop with a variety of creations by local artists and craftspeople, plus some vintage household items from the village. A friend and I were lucky to be there during the Perseid meteor shower, and were able to see a half-dozen meteors as well as the Milky Way, and - unexpected bonus - a hazy red and yellow aurora one night (my iPhone actually “saw” it, not visible to the naked eye). ** Note that the address Google maps can locate is 45 5th St, Twin Lakes.

While we were staying, there was only one restaurant open (Twin Lakes Inn has great food!) and the general store was closed, but we were close enough to Leadville to explore the town and pick up anything we needed. We visited Cottonwood Hot Springs on both days so the location was central for all activities. The place was clean when we entered and it was easy to find. The kitchen was mostly stocked with everything, but a tea kettle would have been nice as we don't drink coffee. All in all, I recommend this place and I'm sure it's even better in the summer when the water activities can be enjoyed.

This is a comfortable and beautifully decorated home. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The backyard was small, but had a couple of chairs, a coffee table, and a hammock. The location is right in town, which is very convenient, and the star-gazing is great!

The town was beautiful and great too, with kind people and reasonable access to both Aspen and Leadville. Twin Lakes served as a good home base for lots of different mountain hikes and explorations.

It's so close to all of the town amenities and the lake isn't far for a dip either. We so enjoyed our stay we extended it. We mountain biked (head to Sup and cycle- they’re amazing!), shopped at the local store (bob and moo too the pup are super sweet!) and little artisan grocery store (tenderfoot), fished and cooked trout we caught at the twin lakes dam, hiked every day and watched the amazing night sky- the Milky Way looks like a cloud from the backyard! Loved every bit of it- the brothel was quaint and whimsical. It was wonderful

Very cute and cozy little cottage! The entire place was clean and beds/pillows were super comfy. The location was great- you can walk to everything in town and there are so many trails close by. You’re also walking distance from the lake. Beware of mosquitos outside though- if you’re hanging out in the backyard or walking to the lake you might want to grab bug spray if it’s summer time.

Amazing home and location. Perfect base camp to the local 14rs. Right in the center of town yet peaceful. The dance hall (next door) hosts happy hour on Fridays and we weren’t able to hear any noise from inside the home. The locals are very friendly (we were even invited to the happy hour). The Inn is a great place for dinner. The general store has really cute local gifts/necessities. Cycle & Sup for paddle boarding on the lake. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I came here with our dog while our kids were at camp. It was a great place walking distance to town and the lake. Decorated and stocked with all essentials. It was chilly in the am and evenings, so just because it is summer don’t forget your slippers. Lots of fun things to do in the area. We brought our kayaks and bikes to explore. Great info booklet in the place showing ideas and the before and after of the remodel which we enjoyed seeing. Don’t forget to go out back late night to check out all the stars in the sky. Would highly recommend! Reasonably priced and pet friendly was nice

The Boho Brothel was the perfect place for a last minute weekend getaway with our pup. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. The boho decor and old charm combo was perfectly done. I will really miss the hammock in the backyard, where I enjoyed by coffee each morning.

We spent 4 nights at the Boho Brothal for a peaceful getaway from Denver and loved our visit. The place is clean, neatly decorated, and comfortable. We appreciated the electric fireplace and backyard for our pup. The cabin is also conveniently located right in town and walking distance to a few trails. Our only disappointments were that the bed was firmer than what we're used to, and that the kitchen didn't have a can opener or colander. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely look for this Airbnb again for future getaways!

I had quite a wonderful stay here in Twin Lakes during the chilly month of January. The place is located right off the highway and easy to spot even at night. The views in the morning and evening and breathtaking and up the road lead to great trails. The local towns offer great food and entertainment. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

The mountains are reserved just for you while staying at this private-feeling, boho location. Easy check-in, cozy space, and on-demand customer service at your fingertips made for a great experience. Although the location is 1.5+ hours from Breckenridge, this would be perfect for a week of camping or special times with your partner. Will definitely visit again.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in this cozy place. House is located in historic district of Twin Lakes and view on surrounding mountains is gorgeous. Really peaceful area with nice local restaurant the corner of the street and little grocery store. House has been remodeled but it still has a signs of history inside. Nice and clean bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with fresh coffee make our stay great 👍🏻 definitely we recommend this place to relax and absorb new energy.

5 star. Excellent accommodation and well renovated property. Stones throw from twin lakes. Such a beautiful area. Not much happening here in winter, I suspect busy in summer but it was the perfect quiet and relaxing stay. And less than an hours drive to some good ski slopes further north.

This little private and cozy 2-bed home was the perfect place for a long-weekend getaway. It's super remote and nestled in the beauty of the Twin Lakes Village. the area surrounding the home is gorgeous, and even the views from the kitchen sink are spectacular. You definitely need a car to get anywhere, but there are so many places within 30 minutes to an hour drive to day-trip to. We spent a day each in the amall towns of Leadville, Buena Vista, and Salida to soak in the beauty, hot springs and local food/drink and arts cultures. This was a truly wonderful and central spot to call home. The place was super-duper clean and cozy as could be!

The house is clean, nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable! There's a nice fenced in back area where you can have coffee and enjoy the Mtn views. We will definitely be back:)

An absolutely beautiful mountain/small town getaway that was so nice to come back to after a long day of hiking. Breakfasting at the coffee truck just down the street really pulled it all together. Nicely appointed kitchen, board games, rain shower, and super comfy beds put this stay over the top.

The house was beautifully decorated, the beds were super comfortable and the shower was heaven. The people of the town are welcoming and lovely. We won’t forget our time there!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the quiet change of pace. I live in Denver and it was so nice to find a place in the mountains that wasn’t commercialized and filled with tourists. We did a few hikes and paddle boarding and it was a great reset! Would go again!

This is one of the most gorgeous towns I’ve ever
This is one of the most gorgeous towns I've ever stayed in. You can see Mt Elbert and Mt Massive in the near distance from the front porch and backyard. The town is so tiny you can walk it in about five minutes. There is a plethora of 14ers and shorter hikes and a beach situation at the Twin Lake reservoir. We went at the tail end of "off season", so nothing in town was open but there's a full kitchen so if you stock up on groceries in Leadville you are good to go. I desperately want to go again.

One thing to keep in mind, is the location is remote so packing food ahead was ideal for our stay. We stayed during the shoulder season, so there was not much open in town, but we loved the coffeeshop being run out of a van! As long as you come to town prepared, you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay!
