Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood

Restaurant Week made for a superb evening. Service was incredible – seldom have found a waiter as knowledgeable about oysters as here! As for the food – the clam chowder was one of the best I’ve had including coastal restaurants. Same can be said about the Barramundi with rice as well as the lobster mac&cheese which nicely light on the cream/cheese side to allow the delicate lobster taste to take the front row seat – stick to seafood and you can’t go wrong. To finish the house made desserts are both well thought through – not overpowering finish note. Tuesday is for most wine bottles 50% off to add a final touch here. We’ll be back for sure.
