It’s nearby a great place to have a picnic. Unfortunately my dog has the big dog syndrome she weighs 5 lb and wants to go after the big dogs so I can’t take her to the dog park. Close to I-70 and right across the street from historic Lakeside Amusement Park. There’s plenty of shade trees. There is a Rec Center there, if you want to grab a book and sit under a shade tree and relax and read it they have a library, a nice children’s playground and Lake that you can sit and watch the ducks, geese and an occasional Pelican or crane.
