As shown, the place is small but had what we needed. The location was great for day trips, and conveniently located near grocery stores. As others mentioned, access is an alley and lacks a view. Its not a place you will hang out, relax and enjoy, but rather a place to sleep and a good home base for daily outings. It was exactly what we needed. The process of renting was somewhat cumbersome, and as for the space it was clean except for the sofa, it has outlived its useful life.

And WIFI/TV didn’t work while we were there. Both easily fixable. Would stay here again due to convenience and cleanliness.

We LOVED our stay in Golden! The guesthouse was the perfect size for 2 and you are in the perfect location to walk to town!!! The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors are friendly! The host was very kind to let us check in early and responded quickly! Would recommend to ANYONE!

We were very pleased with the location, parking and checking in. The property was quiet and well maintained. The air conditioning and overhead fans worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The tv and internet worked great.
We would have liked better accommodations for our clothing but they utilized the small space well. An additional wall mirror would have been nice too. Overall we highly recommend 👍

Very Nice Golden Stay
We enjoyed our two-week stay in Golden. The carriage house is as advertised and within walking distance to downtown Golden, The downside to its location is that it’s on an alley, complete with several abandoned vehicles and other large items that should be removed. The property, though, is fresh and clean and comfortable, and both the manager and the owner were quick to respond to my messages.

Enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable space and would definitely recommend. Only suggestion we would have is to have curtains on the windows. Even though the windows are high up and privacy is not a concern, people who prefer a very dark room while sleeping may not find it easy to sleep here. Bed was super comfortable though!

The home was private, super cute, in a great location, had heated floors in the restroom, and the host was gracious enough to shovel and blow off the unexpected snow off the stairway. The apartment was comfy and well stocked! It was a good location in golden and great for privacy. Two crucial things went wrong: the lock did not work upon arrival ( it was dark and cold already) and the microwave stopped working on our last day. We had to wait for a locksmith who couldn’t fix the lock, so we could not go out the next day until the lock was fixed—or else the apt would’ve remained unlocked with our belongings inside. The microwave was a true bummer because we planned on having our heated breakfast just before heading to the airport. These things seem small but they truly changed our experience. After asking for a small refund, we didn’t get anything but a small gift card from the property owner, who was very nice. But cmon, this was not the cheapest place and we weren’t asking for much of a refund. Did not enjoy air simplicity.

We loved our stay. The unit was perfectly appointed and very comfortable. We walked to downtown, enjoyed burgers at Bob’s Atomic Burger and got the treat we longed been waiting for, Brandi Carlile at Red Rock Amphitheater. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay! It was just like the listing showed, it was clean, and it was super cute! I would not recommend anybody over 2 people (a couple) staying here. They have a fold out couch, but could only be used for kids. It's just quite frankly very small, but it was perfect for me and my husband! Cute little balcony, although there is not much to look at. Couple of cons...the clothes washing machine needs to be deep cleaned (it was nice to have a washer and dryer, but it was kinda gross, with lots of build up and smelled kinda bad), the tub drains EXTREMELY slow!! (We could not tell at first if it was even draining at all), there is no hookup on fridge for water/ice, if you order Door Dash or any other they are constantly confused on how to get there (the apartrment is located in the back alleyway), there is a light at the door but it is VERY dark coming up the stairs. I liked how they provided plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent and everything else you need. I've been to way too many places that don't provide those things. All in all it was a great stay! Thank you!

Whether you want to tub the river, hike, bike, go to concerts at Red Rocks, go into the city of Denver or relax in the awesome town of Golden, this place is located perfectly with easy access to it all. The place was super clean and cozy! The heated floors and built in Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom spoiled us. The owners made us feel very welcomed and even the neighbor saved us on a rainy day with her raincoat. All super nice people. I cannot wait to get back to Golden, and I will for sure be staying here again.

Loved this Airbnb! It was in a great location and was super cute inside, extremely clean, and had everything we could need. The heated floors in the bathroom were AMAZING. The only things we would change are that the bed was very firm, which is fine because everyone’s preferences are different and you can’t please everyone, and then we weren’t able to get the bedroom to be as dark as we wanted because of the lights on the AC/heat unit and also coming in through the uncovered window. If those things don’t bother you then this is the perfect place to stay! If you do stay here, be sure to walk to Bonfire Burritos at some point. It was amazing!

Wonderful little place, had everything we needed and in a cozy little town called Golden 30 minutes from denver and 1 hour from rocky mountain state park just a short drive from anything we needed. We loved this little place it was super clean and we used the kitchen witch was fully equipt with pots and utencils toaster oven, microwave and a dishwasher. Place was super cozy we were honestly a bit sat to leave. There was convenient parking in the alley so no hassle looking for parking. The family in the house nextdoor were to themselfs but still felt the good vibes nontheless. Loved this place would def book again.

This place was ideal for a solo trip. Spotlessly clean and had everything I needed including laundry in the unit. Location is convenient to the highway but also very quiet, and had an off-street parking space that felt very secure.

Such a lovely and private getaway right near the heart of Golden. Very easily walkable and quiet, especially compared to the downtown noise. The space was one of the cleanest we have stayed in and very comfortable. You could easily sleep 4, but I wouldn't recommend two couples as the couple in the pullout bed would have no privacy. The amenities were great and we loved having use of a kitchen. Everyone in the area was very kind and generous as well. If we return to Golden, we would be happy to stay again!

Great location for visiting Golden and the surrounding area. It’s a small, but nicely furnished and well- equipped condos…perfect for a couple. We were there for a show at Red Rocks, and it’s and an easy 15 minute drive from there. We would certainly stay there again.

What a great little spot right on the outskirts of Golden! My husband and I saw a show at Red Rocks, and this place is only a 15 minute drive — we made a long weekend of it and were so glad that we did. The space was super clean, minimal, but with all of the bare necessities. It's only about a 15 min walk to downtown with plenty of well-lit paths for after dark. Safeway is right around the block for any forgotten items or food needs. We had some reservations about parking, as we were informed that new concrete had just been poured and we'd have to park on the side street — but we never once had issues finding a spot. You MUST go to Bonfire Burritos only a couple blocks away. It was so good, we went 2 mornings in a row! Thanks for the stay, we had a blast!

Small, but neat apartment close to everything in Golden. Comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom with a great shower. These are my two "must haves" for anyplace we stay. The location was off the main street and very quiet. We walked everywhere from our apartment as it was only about 8 - 12 minutes to almost anywhere you'd want to get in this town. There is also a Safeway just a few blocks away. Note that there is a long flight of stairs to gain access to this upstairs apartment. This was no problem for us, but might be a challenge for others who are less abled.

Great place to stay while visiting Golden or the Colorado School of Mines. Easy work into town. It was perfect for 3 (1 adult, 2 teens) and would also work for 2 adults and 2 younger kids too. The AC worked well, the kitchen and bathroom were fabulous, and there is even a washer and dryer. The WiFi worked well, the TV worked well and it was easy to cast anything on my iPad to the TV. Very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay that was exactly as photographed. Host was responsive and friendly. Has everything you need and had a lot of nice extras (Bluetooth bathroom speaker, heated bathroom floors, a washer/dryer with detergent) everything was nice and new as well. There was a pack and play for our infant which was great, just bring your own crib sheet if you plan to stay with a little one. Overall the location is good but not great, you certainly are close to downtown golden and can walk there easily, but the entrance is on an alleyway of sorts that isn’t as nice as the inside of the place. Also you do need to climb one flight of stairs to get in.

Clean and quiet. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances (and a dishwasher!). Location was close to all good things that Golden has to offer, quick drive to the North Table Mountain and the Main Street. The burrito place with delicious breakfast and natural grocers store were just a short walk away. Great communication—very responsive and helpful!

It was exceptionally well maintained and clean with very comfortable furniture and beds and a well supplied kitchen. The location was perfect for walking to downtown Golden for access to great dining options. We also made use of the light rail system to go to Denver to explore the downtown area without the stress of Denver traffic and and parking.
Definitely would recommend this unit for anyone wanting to explore Denver/ Golden area.

AMAZING!! We had a fabulous time staying here for our vacation in Golden. The place was incredibly clean and had all the amenities we needed to feel at home. Even better that it was within walking distance to all the fun shops and restaurants so we didn’t have to worry about parking. Also convenient that two grocery stores are nearby (also walking distance) for the times we wanted to make dinner or breakfast. Quiet neighborhood as well. The place has it all!
Communication and directions from the host were on point and were fabulous at providing directions, information, recommendations, etc.

A stone throws to the hiking trails, 20 min to Denver and 5 minutes to the mountains! WHERE CAN YOU CAN WRONG?! Highly recommend this place, great host with amazing hospitality! we WILL be back
