I was gone for most of the day so I like the fact that I could turn on the air conditioning at night when I got back and it cooled down very quickly. Would stay here again if it’s available..

We had a wonderful stay at this Golden gem! We booked this Airbnb for a concert at Red Rocks, and it turned out to be the perfect home base for the concert AND exploring Colorado. Denver was a quick drive, Boulder was close by, and we could be in the mountains in about 45 minutes. From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive, answering questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed for a seamless visit. The carriage house was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with all the comforts of home. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the spacious soaking tub was perfect for relaxing after sightseeing, hiking, or an evening at Red Rocks. The kitchen was well-equipped, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the washer and dryer made the stay more convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet close to restaurants, shops, and attractions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It was walkable to the CO School of Mines campus, downtown Golden, and our daughter’s apartment so no need to drive. Nicely decorated, super clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked.
The rental company was soooo responsive! They helped at 11pm with questions when we arrived and answered within minutes for every subsequent communication. The owners were also very friendly when we saw them. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Golden and this apartment was beautiful, spacious, well-organized, squeaky clean with nice linens and a well-stocked kitchen. It's just like the pictures. We were in town for a Red Rocks concert, and this was a great place to stay. The location is perfect. It's located on a quiet street, but just a block from a cute restaurant and coffee shop, a big grocery store, and a 10-15 min walk to downtown Golden. We had no trouble getting an Uber/Lyft to the concert and other locations around Denver too. We loved sitting on the little deck and were lucky to have great weather for our stay. We hope to be back soon!

Terrific communication from booking all the way through the stay. Host was very responsive. Location is fantastic, easy walk to downtown Golden, School of Mines, Safeway, and walking/hiking trails. Unit is very tastefully modern, with a clean and very serene feel. Very functional layout and good space. We were very comfortable for graduation weekend and didn't have to deal with parking during a crowded weekend.

Easily walkable to downtown Golden, South Table Mtn hiking trails, and the grocery store. Outstanding communication throughout the stay. Had a problem with the internet early in the stay, but the host responded immediately and helped resolve the issue within an hour or two (on a Saturday morning no less). Also, he cleaned the snow off the stairs and my car several times - such a nice touch.

We loved our stay here! The place was clean, beautiful private windows to watch the snow, and easily walkable (15 min) to downtown. There was snow almost every night, and the host made sure to shovel/salt our walkway every morning. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to travel to Golden.

In town for Mines parents weekend… perfect location. Great amenities. Very clean. (Do wish there was a Keurig, but the Mr Coffee worked just fine!) bathroom/shower is great.

Unit is very comfortable for two, nicely designed with modern and convenient touches. Very convenient to downtown Golden, Red Rocks, Lookout Mountain and a short 1/2 hour to Boulder.

While the property doesn’t boast a lot of room, it makes up for it and cleanliness and location the downtown Golden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and will definitely book again. Ideal for Up to four people for sure!

Our Golden Visit

Very Nice Golden Stay
We enjoyed our two-week stay in Golden. The carriage house is as advertised and within walking distance to downtown Golden, The downside to its location is that it’s on an alley, complete with several abandoned vehicles and other large items that should be removed. The property, though, is fresh and clean and comfortable, and both the manager and the owner were quick to respond to my messages.

Had a nice stay here. An awesome burrito and coffee place is walking distance. Parking in the back by the unit was easy to find with their instructions. Getting in was easy. Everything worked the way we needed it. Highly recommend this unit to anyone staying in Golden.

This was a great stay!! We loved the location in Golden, there’s so many cool places nearby to eat and hang out at. The space was super cute, well stocked and clean. The heated floors and speaker in the shower was such a nice bonus!

Enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable space and would definitely recommend. Only suggestion we would have is to have curtains on the windows. Even though the windows are high up and privacy is not a concern, people who prefer a very dark room while sleeping may not find it easy to sleep here. Bed was super comfortable though!

Beautiful apartment. Clean, tidy, new, comfortable. Enjoyed the extra blankets while having coffee on the balcony. We had a couple of concerns during our stay and the owners immediately responded and solved each issue promptly. I am very satisfied with my stay.

The apartment was comfy and well stocked
The apartment was comfy and well stocked! It was a good location in golden and great for privacy. Two crucial things went wrong: the lock did not work upon arrival ( it was dark and cold already) and the microwave stopped working on our last day. We had to wait for a locksmith who couldn’t fix the lock, so we could not go out the next day until the lock was fixed—or else the apt would’ve remained unlocked with our belongings inside. The microwave was a true bummer because we planned on having our heated breakfast just before heading to the airport. These things seem small but they truly changed our experience. After asking for a small refund, we didn’t get anything but a small gift card from the property owner, who was very nice. But cmon, this was not the cheapest place and we weren’t asking for much of a refund. Did not enjoy air simplicity.

We enjoyed our stay! It was just like the listing showed, it was clean, and it was super cute! I would not recommend anybody over 2 people (a couple) staying here. They have a fold out couch, but could only be used for kids. It's just quite frankly very small, but it was perfect for me and my husband! Cute little balcony, although there is not much to look at. Couple of cons...the clothes washing machine needs to be deep cleaned (it was nice to have a washer and dryer, but it was kinda gross, with lots of build up and smelled kinda bad), the tub drains EXTREMELY slow!! (We could not tell at first if it was even draining at all), there is no hookup on fridge for water/ice, if you order Door Dash or any other they are constantly confused on how to get there (the apartrment is located in the back alleyway), there is a light at the door but it is VERY dark coming up the stairs. I liked how they provided plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent and everything else you need. I've been to way too many places that don't provide those things. All in all it was a great stay! Thank you!

Wonderful little place, had everything we needed and in a cozy little town called Golden 30 minutes from denver and 1 hour from rocky mountain state park just a short drive from anything we needed. We loved this little place it was super clean and we used the kitchen witch was fully equipt with pots and utencils toaster oven, microwave and a dishwasher. Place was super cozy we were honestly a bit sat to leave. There was convenient parking in the alley so no hassle looking for parking. Wonderful little place, had everything we needed and in a cozy little town called Golden 30 minutes from denver and 1 hour from rocky mountain state park just a short drive from anything we needed. We loved this little place it was super clean and we used the kitchen witch was fully equipt with pots and utencils toaster oven, microwave and a dishwasher. Place was super cozy we were honestly a bit sat to leave. There was convenient parking in the alley so no hassle looking for parking. What an adorable and lovely space! My husband and I were very comfortable during our stay and loved the convenient location to incredible hiking trails. It was an easy walk to downtown Golden, where we attended a wedding. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back.

Such a lovely and private getaway right near the heart of Golden. Very easily walkable and quiet, especially compared to the downtown noise. The space was one of the cleanest we have stayed in and very comfortable. You could easily sleep 4, but I wouldn't recommend two couples as the couple in the pullout bed would have no privacy. The amenities were great and we loved having use of a kitchen. Everyone in the area was very kind and generous as well. If we return to Golden, we would be happy to stay again!

The location was off the main street and very quiet. We walked everywhere from our apartment as it was only about 8 - 12 minutes to almost anywhere you'd want to get in this town. Has everything you need and had a lot of nice extras (Bluetooth bathroom speaker, heated bathroom floors, a washer/dryer with detergent) everything was nice and new as well. There was a pack and play for our infant which was great, just bring your own crib sheet if you plan to stay with a little one. Overall the location is good but not great, you certainly are close to downtown golden and can walk there easily, but the entrance is on an alleyway of sorts that isn’t as nice as the inside of the place. Clean and quiet. Well equipped kitchen with new appliances (and a dishwasher!). Location was close to all good things that Golden has to offer, quick drive to the North Table Mountain and the Main Street. The burrito place with delicious breakfast and natural grocers store were just a short walk away. Great communication—very responsive and helpful!

Internet was usable but inconsistent. Our video calls went through ok but streaming to the tiny TV was a challenge
The fire alarms went off every time we used the oven. Not sure if the oven needs to be cleaned, the alarms need to be placed somewhere else, or a vent needs to be added in the kitchen.
The refrigerator ice machine and water dispenser were broken because the filter hasn't been changed.

Everything seems new and kitchen is stocked well with stove, oven, dishwasher, cooking supplies, utensils, some spices, etc. We cooked a lot!
There's a fun ring light / bluetooth speaker in the bathroom.
I think the bathroom floor is heated?
Heat pumps (cold/hot) in the living and bedroom.

Not so good:
Internet was usable but inconsistent. Our video calls went through ok but streaming to the tiny TV was a challenge
The fire alarms went off every time we used the oven. Not sure if the oven needs to be cleaned, the alarms need to be placed somewhere else, or a vent needs to be added in the kitchen.
The refrigerator ice machine and water dispenser were broken because the filter hasn't been changed.

A stone throws to the hiking trails, 20 min to Denver and 5 minutes to the mountains! WHERE CAN YOU CAN WRONG?! Highly recommend this place, great host with amazing hospitality! we WILL be back
