A surprisingly good time, considering it’s entirely about mining. The displays are well done and it is well organized. This is not your average, small town museum with an exhibit or two and a donation box. There are several sections that start with the history of mining and even include a small display about space mining. In addition, there is a very cool area depicting an old mine which feels more like a Disneyland waiting area than just a museum (in a good way). Great all around!
