Well a bit of disclosure… We (the community of gardeners) built the place so I’m very partial. This is a Denver Urban Garden supported Organic Community Garden. We give upwards of 2500lbs of fresh produce to the Arvada food bank yearly. The space is shared with a community shared agriculture farm where you can buy a share if you have a less than green thumb. Plots are leased to gardener’s yearly for a nominal fee. There are oodles of free classes and get-together. Just stroll by during the growing season and chat it up with a gardener or two. Be warned though we are a friendly bunch, our hands are dirty our smiles large and you may be forced to take home a Zucchini or two. Garden is open Dawn to Dusk.
