Nicely laid out. The rotation of exhibits is usually nice. The nature exhibits are so life like. The interactive health/body exhibit is nice. The Egyptian mummy section could use more artifacts….but still is informative and well laid out as well. The best part of the museum in my opinion is the Discovery zone for children. The water play area is the best! There are puppet shows and museum staff who perform and work in the sit down area to discuss bugs, and other things depending on what is being covered. The sit down area varies from puzzles, pretend play, and a sleek of other interactive activities. The sand box looks nice, but I tend to stay away from it. Mom’s know how much sand sucks to come home with. Also, if your children are like mine, its hard to leave when there is so much fun to be had, but there is a lovely park nearby which I can usually bribe with to make a smoother transition home. Great place for children and families.
