We loved Twin Lakes and the quirky historic village. The place was very nice, good for larger groups, close to several Trail Heads, not far from other fun places like Aspen and Leadville. One thing we did not enjoy is realizing that our hosts were not from the area and were a bigger company owning many Airbnbs (61 total). One reason we love staying in Airbnbs (we have stayed in over 60 Airbnbs in the past 10 years all over the World) is that you get connected with local culture through your Airbnb hosts. This company truly had no clue what was going on. The place itself was comfortable but we would definitely choose something different next time.
