1) This is an old home (1800s I think). Well cared for & beautifully updated. Stunning views. Stairs are steep w/narrow treads. We had 2 falls, but 0 injuries. 2) The only TV is on the 3rd floor. Bring a tablet/laptop & connect to WiFi for the kids. It’s too far away from the living space & not appropriate for small kids without direct supervision. Would be a great escape for older kids/teens. 3) Rooms have baseboard heaters that were turned up & we were all hot the 1st night. Be sure to turn those down if your a hot sleeper! 4) 1st floor windows are all painted shut. We left the doors open to get fresh airflow. 5) There is 1 bathtub in the house but it is only to be used as a shower. The kitchen sink is large enough to bathe small kids but ours did not like this! 6) Sadly, It was not very clean when we arrived. The linens smelled like urine. The bathrooms were dirty w/hair in the drains. There was mouse poop in the kitchen & loose screws on the floor (choking hazard for our baby).
